Progress over perfection.

For the first time post-surgery, I traded in my sneakers for heels (my favorite Timberland boots!) 💃🏼

Walking confidently into my day reminded me that progress is about celebrating the little victories—like feeling strong enough to add a touch of flair to my steps.

Recovery is never linear, but moments like these make the journey worth it. To all my fellow midlife warriors, remember: it’s not just about where you’re going, but how far you’ve already come.

Ladies we love our shoes and we know shoes make an outfit, but what if you can't wear your beloved heels? How do you make your outfit cute?

I add a little edgy. Sneakers are trendy with skirts and dresses now, Thank God, but sometimes you just get tired of sneakers. Here was my outfit today.

I'm super excited to wear heels even if they're chunky!

Black Friday Sales -no thank you.

I've found myself trying to force myself to buy something because it's that time of year "Black Friday" sales, but I could not justify buying one thing!

I tried.

I searched, researched, opened emails, but there wasn't one thing that I needed. I would've been buying just to spend money.

So I spent my time focusing on my 2025 travel instead.

Booked a few trips and spent time planning.

Don't feel pressured to spend money because you're being bombarded with marketing.

If you really need something , surely buy it on sale, but there hasn't been one sale that really seemed like a "big savings" to me, so hard pass this year. (Like many others)

Save your money or use it to make a memory.

Americans have lots of "stuff", some people have storage units to hold their "stuff". I'm trying to be a minimalist. Trying is keyword here. lol I don't buy what I don't need. It's a good habit.

Inspire yourself.

What is holding you back?

What do you need to do to move forward?

Figure it out.

Then take action.

It's not fast.
It's not going to be easy necessarily.

But it will most definitely be worth it.

It's taken me 15 weeks to bend my knee and hold it while balancing myself. You can see my smile with my sense of accomplishment .

This is the week of Thanksgiving.

Be thankful for yourself. Look in the mirror and say it.
