The first recipe in this how to make large ice cubes for cocktails is seasonal because it’s made using cranberries, but those can be switched out all year long for seasonal fruit like strawberries, raspberries or peaches. The orange rose recipe will follow this recipe below.
Plop some cranberries (12 for the 12 days of Christmas works) in your large ice cube tray, about 1/3 full.
Pour cranberry juice 1/2 way up and top off remainder with apple juice.
Add sprigs of rosemary to each cube.
Place in freezer uncovered until frozen solid.
The beauty of the rubber ice cube trays is all you have to do is push them up individually from the bottom. Your perfect cube will appear. It’s so simple to learn how to make large ice cubes for cocktails with these rubber trays.
Grab a pair of ice tongs and gently place them in your glass.
Top with your favorite sparking on top. Champagne, Prosecco, Cider or Water. These are sure to start a conversation at your next party. But if you’re a party of one at home, and want to spruce up your daily water intake, add this ice cube to your fancy glass with your favorite sparkling water or Arbonne FIZZ https://www.arbonne.com/us/en/arb/NancyDiLeonardi/search?q=Fizz%3Arelevance&text=Fizz and I’m sure it will taste even better!

Here is another great idea for how to make large ice cubes for cocktails recipe with oranges. It’s a little more creative placing the oranges in the tray to appear like a rose, but they turn out perfect with very little effort. Just slice and place in the trays.
There is an option to use orange juice from extra oranges to fill the tray instead of water. This is a great idea if you want to intensify the flavor in the glass as the cube dissolves. However, it may affect the look of the roses, perhaps not as much contrast. Try and see, experiment with it and let me know.
