The Inspiration Behind The Podcast
If you know anything about me and my content, it’s solely to inspire you to live your best life. I share what I’ve done to inspire you to take action towards your dreams and goals. I became Zumba Fitness Instructor as an empty nester, newly divorced, with a just over broke job. I had gone through some really horrific times, but none of those reasons stopped me. Listen to my story on the podcast.
The idea for this podcast came from witnessing countless stories of individuals who defied age-related stereotypes to achieve remarkable success. Whether starting a new business, embarking on a creative project, or transforming their health, these individuals prove that it’s never too late to begin something new. I felt I had to produce content to help people defy the odds (that’s my niche) and share what I’ve done and what I’ve accomplished when the “world” said it was impossible. I didn’t listen, I kept going. (More to come in another podcast on My Zumba Journey. Stay tuned.

Why This Podcast Matters
Many people, especially empty nesters and retirees, feel they have missed the boat on their dreams. This podcast aims to shift that mindset and show that new beginnings are always possible. By sharing real-life examples and practical advice, we hope to inspire our listeners to take that first step towards their dreams.
I also talk about young people trying to decide what to do with their lives. They don’t have to follow the status quo, they don’t have to go to college if they don’t want to (it’s overrated). I talk about your life’s journey is about fulfilling your calling. Fulfilling the seed God planted in you that never leaves your mind. Oh yes, you can push it out of mind, but it will always find a way to get your attention. Because your spirit is always guiding you to live your best life.
