Intro
You know that feeling—something stirs inside you. A business idea. A creative urge. A nudge that says, “What if you did it?” And then… fear whispers back, “But what if you fail?”
If you’ve ever felt that internal tug-of-war, you’re not alone. The truth is, starting a business—or stepping into any bold dream—requires you to leave your comfort zone and walk into the unknown. Scary? Absolutely. Worth it? More than you can imagine.
How do I know? Well I’ve been there or should I say it’s been there my entire life. That feeling inside that you can do this, that feeling when you just didn’t want a boss. That feeling of I can do that thing better. That feeling of I don’t want to be on someone else’s clock. That feeling of I’m tired of trading my time for money. Yes, all of those and more have been swirling in my mind for decades and let me tell you I’ve tried many times to “start a business”.
Well, when you were raised through the indoctrination systems of school and formal education they teach us to become employees, not business owners. Think about it. Did a teacher ever groom you to be the “owner” of a business in your twelve first years of school?
If you didn’t come from a family of successful entrepreneurs are any at all, you would just grow up to work for someone else. At the end of the day we all work for someone else, even the government works for the President in the USA.
So let’s say that’s your story, but you want to start a business, well, for me I tried Direct Sell Marketing several times, thinking that would be a way for me to own my own business with little investment while having the security of my full-time job. I went to conventions where people shared over and over again their success stories, but not matter what brand I tried, I never got anywhere. Why? I didn’t have. a huge network of people and this was mostly before the internet. I must admit, I never tried to sell anything I wasn’t passionate about, I owned and used the products I was selling. Pampered Chef, Longaberger, Arbonne, Visalus to name a few. What I learned from those attempts was the people closest to me didn’t support me, they wouldn’t buy from me, nor host parties, or anything. Take the clue.
Let’s talk about why it’s so hard to leap—and why you should do it anyway.

Why We Stay In The Comfort Zone (and how to push through)
1. Fear of Failure
We’re wired to avoid risk. Your inner voice might say,
“What if I fall flat on my face?”
But here’s a better question:
“What if this is exactly the path that shapes me into who I’m meant to be?”
Faith reminder: Failure isn’t fatal. It’s feedback. And sometimes, the stumble is what builds your stride.
Secret Nugget Drop- The truth is there’s no such thing as failure, it’s just learning what didn’t work. As you learn what didn’t work you grow, change and improve.
2. Imposter Syndrome
You might hear,
“Who am I to start a business?”
But I’ll ask you:
“Who are you not to?”
Your age, your experiences, your story—they’re your superpowers, not your shortcomings.
Faith reminder: You were designed with a purpose. That whisper in your heart isn’t random—it’s divine direction.
Secret Nugget Drop: Imposture syndrome is not real, if your desire is to grow yourself and serve people authentically. Remember, everyone has a first day, first week, first month, first sale, first anything. You have to start, there’s nothing imposture about that fact.
3. Fear of the Unknown
Starting something new can feel overwhelming.
“What if I can’t keep up?”
Instead, tell yourself:
“Every expert was once a beginner. Every thriving business started at zero.”
Faith reminder: The path doesn’t have to be fully visible. You only need the courage to take the next step.
Secret Nugget Drop: The fear of the unknown is the best place to ever be. When you’re there you’ve got nothing to lose because you have not idea what lies ahead. You’re focued in the moment and that where you power lives.

Why You Should Start Anyway (Even If You Might Fail)
1. You’ll Become Braver Than You Were Before
Even if things don’t go exactly as planned, you’ll grow stronger, more confident, and more connected to who you are.
2. You’ll Inspire Others Without Even Trying
There’s someone watching you who needs permission to dream. Your leap might be the nudge they need.
3. You’ll Learn What You’re Made Of
No matter the outcome, you’ll gain clarity, creativity, and resilience. You’ll prove to yourself that you’re capable of hard, beautiful things.

How To Stay In The Game When It’s Hard
Starting is one thing—staying is where the magic happens. Here’s how to play the long game:
1. Let Vision Lead, Not Feelings
On tough days, your “why” is your anchor. Write it down. Speak it out loud. Let it carry you when motivation fades.
2. Set Tiny, Bold Goals
Don’t try to do everything. Just do something. One step. One offer. One post. Momentum is born in micro-movements.
3. Find Aligned Community
Don’t go it alone. Find people who speak your language and dream your dreams. Support matters more than strategy.
4. Celebrate the Invisible Wins
Did you try today? Did you show up even when no one noticed? That counts. Big time.
Summary
My Final Thoughts: Leap Anyway
You don’t need a perfect plan. You don’t need certainty.
You just need courage, clarity, and community. (sometimes the community starts with you and your unwavering belief in yourself)
If you’re standing on the edge of a new beginning—this is your sign.
Leap anyway.
