Nashville is full of murals and great photo opportunities. Here’s a quick blog on must see murals in 12 South.
I took a photo walking tour and I highly recommend it. Yes, our friends can take our photos, but it’s actually more about the experience. Having a professional photographer take your photos while providing history about the area was wonderful and why I wrote the Nashville Murals 12 South blog.
Additionally, you are placed with other people in your group so you get to meet new travelers doing the same thing. I met a fantastic couple for Naples, Florida. They were so friendly and she actually let me borrow her hat for a few of the photos.
If you’re looking to capture a professional feel of Nashville for yourself or your business. I highly recommend Viator walking tour! It was 2.5 hours and we walked all of 12 South. Yes, there were more murals outside of our tour, but the most unique ones were captured in our private session.
Take a look. Nashville Murals 12 South:
Our tour started at Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James boutique. The blue and white stripe wall is a perfect background for everyone.
Now I must admit I personally have had better days, but I was out the night before dancing until 2:30 a.m., so, hey I have that memory. It’s Nashville, there’s lots of music, dancing and drinking!
Just down a few blocks we came upon this really cool mural that captures the music vibe.
Directly across by the Make Music Not War mural is the flower mural. This is one of my favorites from my Nashville Walking Tour 12 South experience.
The most famous Nashville Mural floating around social media is located in 12 South. This was right down the street from Draper James.
In the shopping district of 12 South right along the exterior wall of Madewell Jeans is their mural. I just happened to be wearing my Madewell jeans in this photo!
Dolly Parton has a recording studio in Nashville that pretty much a secret.. Our photographer took us to her studio to capture a photo outside of the security surrounding it.
Who doesn’t love this mural? Again, hidden at the end of a parking lot. I would’ve never found it if it wasn’t for my photographer! Hidden gem in Nashville Murals 12 South.
This one is for all the girly girls who love pink! Located right on the main road of 12South.
It was a bright day, lots of walking but completely worth it!
This was located right next to Five Daughters Bakery in 12 South.
SUMMARY
There are plenty of mural photo opportunities in Nashville for sure. I highly recommend the walking photo shoot tour in 12 South. My experience was so wonderful that I have to share. If I had to do it all over again, I’d definitely book the photoshoot. Not only are the quality of the photos wonderful, but there are so many to choose from. Yes they give you all of them. Additionally, our photographer was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot from her while walking Nashville Murals 12 South.
The only suggestion I would make is wear clothes that you can switch out of that gives your different outfits for all of your Nashville Murals 12 South photos. There isn’t time to change clothes anywhere, so if you dress in layers, or bring props, you’ll be able to have more photos to share. You can see I have some with my leather jacket on, off, I’m holding a hat and wearing it too. Had I worn layers under my sweater, I could’ve had the appearance of a completely different outfit. I’d definitely do that next time.
The price point for the Nashville Photo Shoot 12 South experience was perfect for what you received. I hope you decide to try it as well and when you do, please leave a comment and let me know. Tag me on Instagram!
