Hello dear reader, I’m Nancy from Nancybinspired, and today I want to share some powerful techniques to help you stay positive every day. Positivity isn’t just a fleeting feeling; it’s a mindset that can transform your life. By adopting these techniques, you’ll be well on your way to living your best, most vibrant life.. I’m excited about this blog and how it will be the catalyst for helping you live your best life. Remember change happens with baby steps, so take one action on the path and add more as you go on your journey.
Let’s be honest, every day isn’t always a picnic or walk in the park, but if we set our intentions at the beginning of the day, setting us up for success, even if just mindset, it will have such a powerful affect, not only for that particular day, but your future as well.
How to stay positive everyday is a learned behavior for most. At nancybinspired, that is the foundation of my company and brand. I learned through very challenging times in my life, that I had to focus on what I could control and my mind was it. Once I learned to control my mind, my intentions, the power of positivity and began making these practices part of my daily life, I saw a huge shift. I saw doors open, opportunities and new friendships. Nancybinspired has been the result of many decades of work and nancybinspired is here to grow a community of positivity helping each person in the community live their best life. My hope is one by one we can learn to be more positive, have more fulfilling lives and then share that with others as a “pay it forward”. Isn’t that what we’re all here to da?

Start Your Day With Gratitude
Gratitude is a cornerstone of positivity. Begin each day by acknowledging the things you’re grateful for. This simple practice can shift your focus from what’s lacking to what’s abundant in your life.

Practice Mindfulness and Meditation
Mindfulness helps you stay present and centered, reducing stress and enhancing your overall mood. Meditation, even for just a few minutes a day, can significantly impact your mental clarity and positivity.
• Actionable Tip: Try our guided walking meditation nancybinspired Podcast series, which focuses on manifesting positivity and joy. You can find these meditations on my blog and YouTube channel.
• Actionable Tip; Invite friends over and break bread with them. Did you know your body releases endorphins when you’re around people that bring you joy? Why not invite friends over to your house instead of going out? Entertainment is a form of mindfulness and mediation.
• Actionable Tip: Where you attention goes, energy flows. Pay attention to where you’re placing your attention. Is it bringing you joy? Turn off distractions and turn on joy. Take walks, join groups, try a new adventure and start something new. Feel your energy shift.
Surround Yourself With Positivity
The people and environment around you greatly influence your mindset. Surround yourself with supportive, positive individuals and create a space that inspires you.

• Actionable Tip: When spending down time scrolling or surfing be sure you’re researching positivity and not negativity. Search things that bring you joy and help expand your knowledge. Don’t spend this valuable time shopping, buying into someone else’s dream. Spend it on growing yourself. Educate and search educational information via books, podcasts or blogs, such as mine Nancybinspired for starters. Keep with the theme of positivity and the algorithms will bring you more.
Engage In Physical Activity
Exercise releases endorphins, the body’s natural mood boosters. Activities like Zumba not only keep you fit but also lift your spirits and energy levels.
• Actionable Tip: Join one of my Zumba classes or follow along with the routines I share on my blog and social media. Staying active is a fantastic way to maintain a positive outlook.
• Actionable Tip: Physical activity is the cornerstone to health, wealth and happiness. There’s a saying “if you have your health, you have everything”. This is the true. Be sure to move your body daily. Try yoga, walks, stretching and move onto do dance, swimming and whatever else makes you feel good. Remember this, if it feels good, do more. Creativity is a great way to express yourself and reduce stress. Whether it’s painting, writing, or any other hobby, engaging in creative activities can boost your mood and help you stay positive.
There are apps that allow you to draw online, coloring books for adults, and many activities you can start at home or join. Check out a local art studio, dance studio, or even sip and paint events where you sip wine and draw in a group. Research your local college, or retail stores that sell yarn to learn how to crotchet, needlepoint, the options are endless and available.

Bedtime stories aren’t just for kids. Listening to or reading a soothing story before bed can help you relax, reduce stress, and promote a positive mindset. Bedtime stories for adults can include calming narratives, meditative journeys, or even inspirational tales that leave you feeling uplifted and ready for a restful night’s sleep.

Travel
Travel can change your mind and open you up to new perspectives and ideas. When traveling to new places it is an adventure and time to explore. This by itself takes you out of your day to day routine and allows you brain to process the unknown when affects your nervous system in a positive way.
Whether it’s a day trip, weekend getaway or longer, be sure to travel at least a few times a year. The more the better. Check out my Beercation blog for a fun spin.

Financial stability plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive mindset. When your finances are in order, you can reduce stress and focus more on enjoying life. Building healthy, financial habits, such as budgeting, saving and investing, can provide peace of mind and a sense of security.
Learn to live under your means and only buy what you need to invest in yourself or your business. Once you reach a point of excessive income, then buy the things you want. Wants vs needs. Start there.
